Juan Ramón Cortés open this Workshop and Gallery in 2002 dedicated to pottery and ceramics. It is a small space with a great strength for his peculiar location. Located in the foothills of Santa Barbara Castle, in the historic centre of the city of Alicante, some of its walls, live rock, giving the exhibition hall one of its main features, which power its expressive possibilities.



Although since the opening of the gallery there have been some exhibitions of painting, sculpture, glass, collage and prints, our greatest interest lies in promoting the current artistic ceramics without forgetting the traditional, historic or ancient.



The Gallery has an interest in opening its exhibition space for both novice potters and recognized track record, upon submission of documentation relevant graphics, on highly concessional terms for themselves and for the benefit of the artistic disclosure to the public.
